Cold Rush
When attempting to recall my dreams, I have to face broken memories. Becoming an inspiration, the imperfect process of remembering led me to open the set with the Caretaker’s music and transition to other artists whose tracks evoke a sense of both presence and absence. I also found inspiration in a quote from the Portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa in his Book of Disquiet:“No nostalgia hurts as much as nostalgia for things that never existed.”
